“Thank you so much for a great festival and for assembling a terrific group of people and films. The spirit and the atmosphere reminded me of the first ever Sundance Film Festival, a beautiful setting, full of like minded people all willing to share their knowledge and experience. So, from now on, you are the Robert Redford of the West Coast of Ireland!”
Michael Ryan, Producer (The English Patient)
“I have been to hundreds of film festivals all over the globe for what seem to be the last hundred years and in my opinion the Dingle Film Festival is the best among them all”.
Jimmy T. Murakami (The Snowman, When The Wind Blows)
Try saying the name “Dingle” without breaking into a warm smile, especially after attending this town’s lovely film festival. Maurice Galway is a gracious and charming host, and we found the audience at our screening thoughtful and enthusiastic. Afterwards, we joined several audience members for a pint or two of Guinness to discuss the film and listen to fantastic local musicians – a wonderful way to end our evening. We can’t wait to come back to Dingle with our next film!
Producer/Director – CHILD OF GIANTS: My Journey with Maynard Dixon and Dorothea Lange
Screenwriter – Mrs. Doubtfire, The Thomas Crown Affair, Hairspray, Limitless
I would like to say that I have attended many festivals all over the world and Dingle ranks as one of the best for content, atmosphere, location and attention to detail. Ardmore Studios is delighted to be associated with the festival.
