ANIMATION DINGLE FOUND THE  ‘YOUNG ANIMATOR OF THE YEAR’.

IN 2018, COULD IT BE YOU?

Secondary school students, from all over Ireland, were invited to submit their short animations for entry to the national YAOTY awards.
Donal Cotter, Mount Temple, Clontarf, Dublin 3 and Kelly Mc Carvill, St. Joseph’s College, Lucan, Co. Dublin were crowned overall winners at the 2017 festival.
Next year, could you, or someone you know, be the winner?

THE COMPETITION IS OPEN TO 4TH, 5TH & 6TH YEAR STUDENTS IN SECONDARY SCHOOL.
Students will be invited to produce an animated film no longer than 1 minute.

For 2018, the theme is ‘UNDER THE SEA’.

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS WEDNESDAY, JANUARY  31ST 2018

The winning student will be:

Presented with their award from a top animation executive at the Animation Dingle Festival, March 23rd – 24th 2018
Offered a placement in JAM Media’s studios in either Dublin or Belfast.
Receive an award designed by renowned Dingle Jeweller, Brian de Staic.
